Collector Nerds Beware: New Company Will Press Cremated Ashes Into Vinyl. Your Corpse Is LTD To 30 On Grey.

Wired UK has a story today about a company that will press the cremated remains of your body into a vinyl record. Your body will be part of a vinyl pressing of 30 records and you can put up to 25 minutes of music on the record. Somewhere in Norway a kvlt kid in a black metal band is hearing dollar signs.

The company, And Vinyly, was founded by techno pioneer and Subhead band and label founder Jason Leach. As ghoulish as this might sound the story, not to mention the idea itself, it’s a great piece that’s worthy of your time.

As for myself I’ve been thinking about what my 25 minutes would be if I ever got pressed on wax. As Leach mentions in the article, you want this to be the best album of your life. Plus I know my wife would actually listen to it. Continue reading for my 25.
