Free Energy & Titus Andronicus Team Up For Split 7″ And A Tour

Titus Andronicus released The Monitor this past Spring, and it’s probably one of the best albums you’re going to hear this year. Free Energy also released an album this spring, Stuck On Nothing. It too is probably one of the best albums you’ll hear this year. Now the Fates of indie rock have brought these two groups together for an epic journey full of sweaty shows and collectible vinyl goodness.

Starting August 19th the bands will join forces and embark on a month long North American tour. To make this already exciting news all the more thrilling they will be bringing with them an exclusive tour only split 7″ featuring a cover from each band. Titus Andronicus have tackled “Anxiety Block” by Television Personalities for their side while Free Energy will be providing an interpretation of “I’m Going Down” by Bruce Springsteen.
