Bayside and Motion City Soundtrack have announced plans for a co-headlining tour, kicking off in October. What’s Eating Gilbert (Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory) and State Champs will be along for the ride, as well.
Only a handful of dates have been announced, but more are expected to be revealed soon. We’ll keep you posted as things develop. In the meantime, read on for a list of current dates and venues.
Anthony Raneri (Bayside) revealed Monday that he’ll be playing a string of east coast solo dates in February. The performances, part of To Write Love On Her Arms’ “Heavy and Light” series, will also feature Now Now, Jon Foreman of Switchfoot, and Will Anderson of Parachutes. Read on for a list of the dates Raneri will be appearing. Links to tickets, which go on sale Friday, will be available through Raneri’s homepage.
Nik Bruzzese and Zac Eisenstein of Man Overboard, fresh off a string of dates with Taking Back Sunday and Bayside, recently did an acoustic session with PureVolume. You can check out a video of the guys playing “210B” below, and head over to PureVolume to see their performance of “Atlas”.
Born & Bred announced Monday that a limited edition poster for The Swellers is now available. The poster, shown on the right, is available from the band on tour and in the Born & Bred webstore.
Born & Bred was founded earlier this year by Bayside bassist Nick Ghanbarian, with a focus on hand crafted art and apparel. Artists to have collaborated with the line include The Swellers, MxPx, and of course, Bayside.

In celebration of the 10 year anniversary of the release of the band’s debut album Tell All Your Friends, Taking Back Sunday has announced a full US tour this fall. The band, who reestablished its original lineup in 2010, will be playing the album front to back during the tour. Bayside will be along for the entire tour (barring dates at smaller venues, where Taking Back Sunday will perform acoustic), while Mansions, Man Overboard, Gabriel The Marine, Transit, and The Menzingers will be offering support on different dates; the band will also share the stage with Motion City Soundtrack for a single show in Phoenix, AZ. Tickets go on sale Friday at noon, and can be found through Taking Back Sunday‘s Bandsintown page. Read on for a full list of dates and venues, including respective openers.
Toronto based post-hardcore band Silverstein have confirmed a number of details regarding their fifth studio album, entitled Rescue. The album has a street date of April 26th, and in support the band will be co-headlining the 10th anniversary of the Take Action tour alongside Bayside, with support from Polar Bear Club, The Swellers and Texas In July.

Bayside recently announced that they had teamed up with Nike to create a custom Destroyer jacket. Today, the band released details on how to enter for a chance to win the one-of-a-kind item. Fans can enter a video contest promoting the upcoming album Killing Time, to be released February 22nd. Details can be found on the band’s website.
